Week 14 of the 2024 fantasy football season has arrived and managers must now decide which quarterbacks to use in their lineups. They have always been among the highest-scoring fantasy players each week, so it's important to have a strategy for approaching this position. Here are some of the best targets and fades this week.

Joe Burrow has been excellent in fantasy football this year, despite the Cincinnati Bengals having a disappointing 2024 season. He is the overall QB3 so far and has finished among the top 10 weekly QBs seven times in 12 games. He will be even more valuable than usual in Week 14 in a favorable matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, making him an elite lineup option.

He is joined by Sam Darnold, who has been one of the biggest surprises in fantasy football this season. He unexpectedly earned the starting role for the Minnesota Vikings and has proceeded to be one top performers, ranking as the QB8 overall. He has also ranked among the top 10 weekly QBs in three of his past five games, giving him plenty of momentum for his matchup against the Atlanta Falcons this week.

Week 14 Fantasy Football QBs Sit 'Em picks

Geno Smith is having a decent 2024 fantasy football season, but his weekly results have been inconsistent for the Seattle Seahawks. He has finished among the top 10 weekly QBs five times, but four of them came in the first five weeks of the season. Despite ranking as the overall QB12, he is a fade this week against the Arizona Cardinals, who he finished as the QB20 against just two weeks ago.

Another QB to avoid for this week's fantasy football lineups is Derek Carr, who has cooled off after his strong start to the season. He opened the year by ranking as the QB3 and QB6 in his first two games but has only finished better than QB16 just once since then. He should be benched this week, despite having a favorable matchup when the New Orleans Saints take on the New York Giants.
