Week 17 is officially up and running, as evidenced by the success of Netflix's Christmas Day doubleheader featuring the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans. The Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks will move Week 17 along when they clash on Thursday Night Football.

The four-win Bears don't have a whole lot left to play for but the Seahawks still have an outside chance of making the playoffs and playing meaningful football in January. Here's our prediction for the TNF showdown along with some fantasy picks to keep an eye on.

Putting your faith in the Chicago Bears would be a risky proposition on the best of days. You'd be hard-pressed to believe in them even if they went up against a struggling Jacksonville Jaguars team with Mac Jones under center.

A lot was expected of the Bears when they assembled some weapons to ensure Caleb Williams would thrive in his first year in the league. However, we have seen no evidence that heis the generational quarterback everyone thought he was going to be.

The Bears have lost nine straight games — the second-longest active losing streak in the NFL behind the New York Giants, who have lost 10 straight.

Sportskeeda's NFL Playoff Predictor sees the Bears running the Seahawks close, predicting a 23-20 win for Seattle to boost its playoff chances to 13%.

Seattle Seahawks vs Chicago Bears fantasy outlook

Over the last seven weeks, NFL sophomore Jaxon Smith-Njigba has looked like the most productive playmaker in this Seahawks receiving corps. He has found the end zone five times over the last seven games and caught eight passes for 95 yards against the Minnesota Vikings defense, which has been one of the league's best under Brian Flores. Expect Smith-Njigba to find the end zone against the Bears.

Like Smith-Njigba, Keenan Allen is also primed to get a TD or two. He hauled in nine passes for 141 yards and a TD against Detroit last week. However, don't expect his teammate D'Andre Swift to have anything close to a productive night. The Seahawks' run defense has excelled in shutting shop this season.
