Week 18 of the 2024 fantasy football season has arrived and managers should be working on their lineups for the final slate of the year. Those still alive in the fantasy playoffs will be playing in the championship round this week, so they must make sure to fully optimize their lineups. Here are some of the top running backs to target and fade to help them do so.

The Atlanta Falcons need a win this week against the Carolina Panthers to keep their playoff hopes alive, and considering Robinson finished as the weekly RB4 against them in their first matchup, he is one of the best overall lineup targets this week.
He is joined by Bucky Irving, who has been one of the best overall rookies during the 2024 fantasy football season so far. He opened the year as a backup for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but his impressive performances have earned him the featured role.
He has now finished among the top 15 weekly running backs in six of his past seven games and is a strong option for fantasy lineups this week in a favorable matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Week 18 Fantasy Football RBs Sit 'Em picks
Breece Hall had a solid 2024 fantasy football season overall, ranking as the RB18 this year with six finishes among the weekly top 12 running backs. The issue is that he has been struggling for the New York Jets recently, finishing outside of the top 30 in three of his past four games. This makes him difficult to trust against the Miami Dolphins this week.
Another running back to avoid this week is Rhamondre Stevenson, who has been having a frustrating year for the New England Patriots. He has finished as the weekly RB10 or better five times this season but still ranks as just the RB25 overall. He also hasn't had a weekly finish inside of the top 25 in his past five games, making him a clear fade against the Buffalo Bills this week.
