#1 - Sam LaPorta

Sam LaPorta finished as the overall TE1 last year during his rookie season with the Detroit Lions. He finished as the TE8 in Week 1 this year, turning in a solid four receptions for 45 yards. He has already proven that his upside is much higher than that and he gets a favorable matchup in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' passing defense that ranked in the bottom 10 last year.

#2 - Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce has finished among the top three tight ends in fantasy football in each of the past eight seasons. He has proven to be one of the most reliable overall options for lineups in any position. This will once again be the case when he takes on the Cincinnati Bengals.

#3 - Trey McBride

Trey McBride broke out in fantasy football last year with a TE9 finish. He figures to be a key piece of the Arizona Cardinals' passing game this year and gets a favorable Week 2 matchup. Their game against the Los Angeles Rams is projected to be one of the highest-scoring contests of Week 2.

#4 - Mark Andrews

Mark Andrews recorded just two receptions for 14 yards last week while being significantly outperformed by Isaiah Likely. It's too early for managers to panic about Andrews' role, especially considering his proven history as an elite tight end. He has finished four season as the TE5 or better and will look to get back on track in Week 2 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

#5 - George Kittle

George Kittle consistently offers some of the highest weekly upside of any tight end. He has finished five of the past six seasons ranked among the top five tight ends in fantasy football and continues to be an important part of the San Francisco 49ers' dominant offense.

#6 - Kyle Pitts

Kyle Pitts' fantasy outlook received a major boost this year when the Atlanta Falcons added Kirk Cousins. The tight end got off to a good start with his new quarterback, finishing as the TE3 in Week 1 of the 2024 fantasy football season. He will look to build off of that performance against the Philadelphia Eagles this week.

#7 - Dalton Kincaid

Dalton Kincaid entered the 2024 fantasy football season with high expectations after the Buffalo Bills moved on from Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis during the offseason. He failed to captialize on the available targets in Week 1, recording just one reception for 11 yards. His outlook still remains bright this year and he has good opportunity to bounce back in a potential shootout against the Miami Dolphins.

#8 - Evan Engram

Evan Engram has been excellent in his two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars so far, finishing as the TE2 and TE6 in fantasy football. He got off to a slow start in Week 1 this year, catching just one pass for 5 yards. His strong history with Trevor Lawrence suggests he will get back on track, which could happen as soon as Week 2.

#9 - Brock Bowers

Brock Bowers is one of the highest-rated overall rookies this season and he got his 2024 season off to a promising start. He was heavily involved in his first game, recording six receptions on eight targets and finishing as the weekly TE5. Despite a difficult matchup with the Baltimore Ravens' elite defense, he makes for a solid lineup option.

#10 - Dallas Goedert

Dallas Goedert has been consistently reliable in fantasy football, finishing among the top 15 tight ends in four of the past five seasons. Despite recording just 31 yards in Week 1 this year, he was still targeted five times and played in 82% of the offensive snaps. He still makes for a solid option in Week 2 lineups.
