Fantasy football is reaching beyond the halfway points in some leagues and it's time to look at some sleepers to help win it all. More specifically, those wide receivers who can make a difference with bye weeks and injuries happening across the league.
These wideouts aren't necessarily the No. 1 targets on their respective teams but are under the radar when it comes to fantasy value.
Josh Downs was taken by the Colts in this year's NFL Draft. Kendrick Bourne has been one of the Patriots better weapons in their passing game. Jayden Reed, like Downs, was taken in this year's draft. The Packers rookie has found his way into the team's offense.
Let's take a look on the reason of choosing three receivers as sleepers in fantasy football in Week 8.

Week 8 Fantasy Football Sleeper WRs
Josh Downs
Downs is second on the Colts in targets and receptions behind top wideout Michael Pittman Jr. this season. The Indianapolis Colts host the New Orleans Saints in Week 8.
He has been on a bit of a hot streak in terms of fantasy points. Downs has double-digit PPR points in four of the Colts' last five games.
The 22-year-old rookie is available in nearly every fantasy football league but that could soon change after Week 8.
It seems that quarterback Gardner Minshew III has found a reliable weapon against a good Saints defense. Get him for this week and possibly the rest of this season.
Kendrick Bourne
Bourne is starting to find a groove at the right time for fantasy football managers. The New England Patriots offense has found a bit of life as quarterback Mac Jones isn't turning it over.
The veteran receiver leads the Patriots in nearly every receiving category but is rostered on just over 20 per cent of teams in fantasy.
New England is going against the Miami Dolphins in Week 8, meaning Jones might be throwing it more once again. Bourne has two straight games with 15 or more fantasy PPR points and is on pace for a third one.
Miami's pass defense isn't ideal and Bourne could get a greater target share than usual. If he's on your roster, start him as a potential WR2 in your Week 8 lineup.
Jayden Reed
Reed has found success in his first season with the Green Bay Packers as he's made a case to be the team's No. 2 wideout. Quarterback Jordan Love has targeted the rookie due to Christian Watson being injured this season. Watson left the Week 7 game versus the Denver Broncos.
This could mean Reed being the focal point for Love in Week 8 as they host the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field. He hasn't had a game in 2023 with more than eight targets.
That stat could scare off fantasy football managers but get him on your team to have a chance to win the week.
