Tom Brady's FOX broadcasting debut is one of the biggest storylines of the 2024 season, besides all the player transactions. His contract is worth $375 million over ten years - the largest ever in the history of the sportscasting realm.
That being said, he has so far been limited to Dallas Cowboys games - the lopsided opening-week win at the Cleveland Browns and the equally lopsided home loss against the New Orleans Saints.
What game is Tom Brady calling in Week 3?
Brady will be covering the Dallas Cowboys vs. Baltimore Ravens game beside PBP man Kevin Burkhardt and sideline reporters Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi. The game is one of five to be held in the late afternoon, kicking off at 4:25 PM ET/3:25 PM CT.

- Detroit Lions vs. Arizona Cardinals - Chris Myers, Mark Schlereth and Jen Hale
The featured early afternoon game between the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles will be handled by Brady's predecessor Greg Olsen beside Joe Davis and Pam Oliver.
Tom Brady discusses challenges in broadcasting ahead of Week 3 duties
The opening of Fox's Tom Brady era was rather rough, as fans and ex-players were critical of his style of breaking down plays and strategies when compared to his predecessor. The way the Cowboys defeated the Browns (just two offensive touchdowns against four field goals) did not help, giving him little in the way of meaningful moments to analyze.
It did get slightly better in Week 2, when the Saints' Derek Carr and Alvin Kamara exploded for four rushing touchdowns between themselves (as well as a passing/receiving touchdown) against Dallas. Ahead of his next assignment, Brady described where he currently stands as a sportscaster in the Let's Go podcast, calling himself "still a rookie":
"Anybody can get on there and talk 'In Cover 2, this is what you got to do, you got to read the high-low.' That’s fun and technical, but people won’t understand sh*t if we do that. So I’ve got to continue to find simple ways to describe that to people who are just tuning in for three hours every week. It’s a challenge for sure."
Announcing details for Week 4 are expected to be revealed on Tuesday, the day after the Monday Night Football doubleheader.
