Aaron Rodgers snubbed Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams' attempt at a jersey swap after their matchup. The Detroit Lions eked out a 20-16 win and eliminated the Green Bay Packers from the playoffs. Despite the win, the Seattle Seahawks got in over Detroit due to a tiebreaker.
Despite the loss, Rodgers' snub did not come from a place of bitterness. After the game, he was asked about not giving Williams, a rookie wide receiver, his jersey.
Rodgers said:

"I think I might have told him I'd give him a jersey when we played in Detroit, so I'll have to send him a jersey, but there's just some special ones that I like to keep. It's nothing against Jameson [Williams], I'll make sure I send him one."
He continued:
"I kind of wanted to keep this one. It's a night game, Lambeau, Week 18. There's certain jerseys you like holding on to, like playing Chicago or big Sunday night games. It's not keeping it, it's a cool one to give somebody you really care about."
The quarterback was very careful about how he answered, but there's a thought that was likely in the back of Rodgers' mind: This may have been his final game in green and yellow.
With the future totally uncertain, Rodgers didn't want to give away what could be one of the most special jerseys of his entire career.
What does the future hold for Aaron Rodgers?
It's no secret that Aaron Rodgers was frustrated with the Packers this year. Despite a run to nearly making the playoffs, they were not a good team for most of the year.
For Rodgers, there was frustration over the lack of a dependable pass catcher, made more evident because they traded Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders.
He's been frustrated with the organization before, so this could be the final straw. Retirement is definitely an option, something he has hinted at before.
He could also find his way to another team. Several teams would be interested in trading for the future Hall of Famer, so he would have a market.
He could also end up back with the Packers. He was infamously very frustrated with the front office shortly before signing an extension recently.
It's all on the table, but this very well could end up being Aaron Rodgers' last game in Green Bay.
