Looking for a breakout season this year, Green Bay Packers wide recevier Christian Watson failed to elevate his game to the next level, but was still a productive piece of Green Bay's receiving corps.
Watson was third in receiving yards this season on the Packers (620) but had the highest average yards per catch with a whopping 21.4 yards per catch this season. His 29 receptions ranked sixth on the team and he only scored two receiving touchdowns in 15 total games played.
In his three seasons in the NFL, Watson has 98 catches for 1,653 yards, and 14 receiving touchdowns. In yesterday's season finale loss against the Chicago Bears, Watson had no catches on just one target, before the leaving the game with an injury.

In the second quarter of Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Chicago Bears, Christian Watson suffered a right knee injury, was carted off the field, and was ruled out for the remainder of the game in the third quarter.
The Packers got bad news this morning when it was reported that Watson is believed to have torn his ACL, with some additional damage, sidelining him for the remainder of the season and jeopardizing the beginning of the 2025 season.
NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport tweeted:
"Sources: #Packers standout WR Christian Watson is believed to have torn his ACL and suffered additional damage, ending his season and putting the beginning of 2025 in jeopardy. A frustrating reality for that talented pass-catcher."
The Green Bay Packers will prepare to face the Philadelphia Eagles without Christian Watson
The Green Bay Packers finished the 2024-2025 season at 11-6, placing third in the NFC North and earning a wild card spot in the NFC. They earned the seventh seed in the NFC, setting up a date with the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday, Jan. 12 at Lincoln Financial Field at 4:30 p.m. ET.
The Eagles are the No. 2 seed in the NFC, as they finished the season with a 14-3 record.
Sunday's game will be a rematch of Week 1. The Eagles defeated the Packers, 34-29, in the NFL's first game ever held in Brazil. Running back Saquon Barkley rushed for three touchdowns as Packers quarterback Jordan Love left the game with an ankle injury.
Watson had three receptions for 13 yards and a touchdown in the game. He will be inactive Sunday.
