Nico Collins and the Houston Texans played against the Buffalo Bills in Week 5. The Texans were 3-1 heading into this game and were the favorites to come away with a win.
Collins scored a 67-yard touchdown in the first quarter of the game, and Houston's defense limited Buffalo to only three points in the first half.
Unfortunately, Collins, who has had a great start to the season, suffered a hamstring injury against the Bills and was ruled out of the game. In his absence, Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell will be the Texans' primary receivers.
Before getting injured against the Bills, Collins had two receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown. The extent of the injury is unknown, but it would not be surprising if the 25-year-old wideout misses next week's game against the New England Patriots.

Nico Collins leads the NFL in receiving yards
Nico Collins signed a three-year, $72.75 million contract extension with the Texans this offseason. He had 80 receptions for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns last season, which played a huge role in C.J. Stroud's success.
Heading into Week 5 of this season, Collins led the NFL in receiving yards with 489 yards in four games. By adding his 78 yards against the Bills, Collins now has 567 receiving yards in five games. He still leads the NFL in that category by more than 181 yards compared to second-placed Chris Godwin (at the time of writing), who has 386 yards in five games.
Having receivers like Collins, Diggs and Dell has made Stroud's job easier, and the young quarterback is an MVP candidate this season. The Texans will hope that Collins does not miss much time due to his hamstring injury, as he is a very important player for them.
