Christian Gonzalez, an American football cornerback, was born on June 28, 2002. Moreover, he took part in collegiate football at Oregon University. Prior to spending one season with Oregon in 2022, he played for the Colorado Buffaloes at the University of Colorado and was named to the all-conference team. He is Melissa Gonzalez's younger brother, a hurdler who is both Colombian and American.

He went to The Colony High School, where he was a cornerback and wide receiver prospect who had a four-star rating. Gonzalez enrolled at the University of Colorado after previously committing to play collegiate football at Purdue University. For its 2020 recruiting class, the football team at Purdue added another highly regarded prospect who has links to the Boilermakers.
The 6-foot-1 player of The Colony, Texas, turned down offers from Arizona State, Colorado, Notre Dame, Alabama, and Mississippi in favour of the Boilermakers. Gonzalez received roughly 30 scholarship offers in all.

Gonzalez wanted to play for Oregon Ducks and therefore he changed schools in 2022 and started studying at the University of Oregon. As a result of his 45 tackles, 7 pass breakups, and 3 interceptions, he was selected first-team All-Pac-12. Gonzalez made the decision to join the 2023 NFL Draft rather than use his last two years of eligibility after the season.

By virtue of his marriage to Melissa, Gonzalez is David Blough's brother-in-law.
