Andy Reid was hired by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013, following a thirteen-year tenure as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. Reid was a success story in Philadelphia, but he failed to win the Super Bowl during his time with the Eagles and was let go following the 2012 NFL season. The Kansas City Chiefs sensed an opportunity and promptly employed a well-respected offensive-minded head coach ahead of the 2013 NFL season.
Reid has established himself as one of the best, if not the best, coaches in the National Football League since joining the Chiefs. His five-year tenure has been legendary, with accolades after accolades piling up. Among these honors are one Super Bowl title, three Super Bowl appearances, and five consecutive AFC Championship Games (all as the home team).
Andy Reid is special, and there has rarely been a time when a single head coach has built two elite franchises as well as he has for the Eagles and Chiefs.
