Quarterback Aaron Rodgers recently turned 41 years old and is in his 20th season in the National Football League. While he has dealt with injuries in the last two seasons, he revealed in 2021 how he changed his diet to help with his performance on the field.

Rodgers shared his diet restrictions in an episode of "The Pat McAfee Show." He revealed that removing gluten and dairy from his diet allowed better movement in his joints and an overall better feeling throughout his body that he hoped would allow him to continue his NFL career.

"Cutting gluten, and probably most importantly for me and my own blood type, dairy, out of my diet has really made a difference in my body. It's just changed the way my joints respond. It's changed the way my skin and body respond. I don't feel bloated all the time, I don't feel kind of slow and foggy," Aaron Rodgers told Pat McAfee in 2021.

Aaron Rodgers revealed details of Ayahuasca usage during Netflix documentary

Aaron Rodgers has been vocal the last few years about usage of the psychedelic Ayahuasca. In the recent Netflix documentary "Enigma," the 41-year-old quarterback revealed details of his usage of the drug. He revealed that he has used it nine times on four different trips outside of the United States.

"It’s the hardest medicine possible that I’ve tried. It’s a deeply intense spiritual journey. You have to go to some deep places in the shadow of your own self,” Rodgers revealed about the experience.

The New York Jets quarterback decided to use Ayahuasca again to help in the recovery of his Achilles injury that he suffered in Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season. The quarterback claimed that taking Ayahuasca has helped him not only physically but also emotionally and spiritually as he tapped into his deeper self.

Aaron Rodgers wasn't alone on his journey as he invited Miami Dolphins safety Jordan Poyer to also partake.
