When do the Bills play the Chiefs? All you need to know about AFC Championship Game

The Buffalo Bills continued an impressive 2024/25 season by beating the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC divisional round game. The Bills were resolute in defense and did enough offensively to eke out the win. They're now set for a date against the two-time reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs, for their part, beat the Houston Texans in the divisional round. They're now set for yet another crunch matchup against a familiar foe.

The game will feature the best two teams in the AFC in terms of regular-season record. With that in mind, let's highlight two key players to watch in the AFC championship showdown.

Who are the players to watch in the AFC Championship Game?

Here's a look at two star plays who could turn the tide on Sunday:

Travis Kelce, Tight End - Kansas City Chiefs

So much for the washed accusations. In the divisional round game, Travis Kelce looked anything but washed against the Houston Texans.

The future Hall of Famer was once again a prime target for Patrick Mahomes and ended the game with a stat line of seven catches (off eight targets), 117 receiving yards and one touchdown. Kelce showed that he still got it in his age-35 season.

The Bills must find a way to limit his threat in the AFC championship game. Even then, they must contend with the fearsome offenses of DeAndre Hopkins, Hollywood Brown and rookie Xavier Worthy.

Josh Allen, Quarterback - Buffalo Bills

Where would the Bills be without Josh Allen? They'd be watching the playoffs at home like the rest of us and the Baltimore Ravens.

In the divisional round, Allen did not score a passing touchdown against the Ravens. He didn't need to; he rushed for two TDs off just 20 rushing yards in the game.

Allen is a frontrunner for the MVP Award for a reason, and he'll get the chance to get revenge against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday's game.
