Tee Higgins has had another exceptional season with the Cincinnati Bengals. The receiver has become one of quarterback Joe Burrow's favorite targets, and the duo have formed a great partnership.

Higgins signed a four-year deal with the Bengals in 2020 and will become a free agent in the 2024 offseason. That is, if he doesn't sign an extension with the team before that.

Reports from Spotrac claim that Higgins' four-year contract with the Bengals is worth $8,686,785. In 2023, he will reportedly earn a base salary of $1,794,562, while carrying a cap hit of $2,763,978 and a dead cap value of $969,416.

However, Higgins has played an important part in the Bengals' success over the past two seasons. His performances have merited a contract extension with the team. It now depends on what Cincinnati owner Mike Brown has in store for the receiver.

In the 2022 regular season, Tee Higgins recorded a total of 1,029 receiving yards with seven touchdowns on 74 catches. He averaged 9.2 yards per reception while playing in 16 games for the Bengals.

However, Higgins hasn't been able to dominate as he has done previously in the playoffs. The 24-year-old put up 37 yards on four catches against the Baltimore Ravens in the wild-card round.

He then added 28 yards on three receptions in the divisional-round win against the Buffalo Bills. Higgins hasn't record a touchdown in this postseason.

However, he will like his chances against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC championship game on Sunday. Higgins hasn't scored a touchdown in his last five outings, but Cincinnati will be hoping that its star receiver regains his level of play.

The AFC title match between the Chiefs and the Bengals will take place at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Sunday. The game is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET.
