As per the NFL Pro Football rules, Brady will initially be eligible for the Class of 2028 Hall of Fame induction. Since Brady announced his retirement in January 2023, he has to wait at least five years.
This is because football stars are not eligible to enter the Hall of Fame until they've been inactive for five consecutive seasons. Nonetheless, when the 49 members of the selection committee cast their votes, Brady will be a top choice among almost all of them.
This is Brady's second retirement. He first announced his decision to retire in February 2021. However, he remained retired for only 40 days before announcing his return to the league for another season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
