Marquise Hollywood Brown signed for the Kansas City Chiefs in the offseason. However, the wideout is yet to make his debut for the team due to a collarbone injury that he suffered in a preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Aug. 10.
Although Brown's injury initially appeared to be season-ending, there is a high possibility that he can return for the Chiefs at a vital juncture this season.

As per James Palmer of Bleacher Report, Marquise Hollywood Brown could return to action for the Chiefs in time for the playoffs, which looks more than achievable for Kansas City given its stellar start this year.
Brown had to undergo surgery to repair a dislocated sternoclavicular joint in his shoulder. He is currently on the Chiefs' injured reserve list as he continues his rehab. However, reports suggest that Brown is expected to be back in action by mid-January, which is when Kansas City will begin its postseason run.
There is still no indication that Brown will return for the Chiefs in the regular season this year. In September, Chiefs coach Andy Reid said that the wideout's injury would take a few months to recover.
"There are not a lot of these [injuries] that we have information on," Reid said. "We have to ride it out and see where we're at. It's not going to be weeks, it's going to be more like months."
Brown signed with the Chiefs in the offseason. The Baltimore Ravens drafted the wideout in the first round in 2019, and he then played two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals after signing for them in 2022.
In the 2023 season, Brown recorded 574 yards on 51 receptions and caught four touchdowns in 14 starts for the Cardinals. The Chiefs swooped in for him this offseason.
The Chiefs, who are undefeated this season and boast a 6-0 record ahead of Week 8, are chasing a Super Bowl three-peat. Brown's potential return for the postseason would certainly boost their chances of retaining the Lombardi Trophy.
The Chiefs also added five-time Pro Bowl wideout DeAndre Hopkins to their roster on Wednesday after agreeing to a trade with the Tennessee Titans.
