In the buildup to Seattle's Week 2 game against the Patriots, Walker was listed as doubtful. He did not participate in practice and his status was changed to out a few hours before Sunday's game.

Ahead of the Seahawks-Patriots clash, it was reported that Seattle would be approaching Walker's injury with "extreme caution" and that the player could be ruled out for multiple weeks.

Will Kenneth Walker be fit for Week 3 vs. Miami Dolphins?

On Wednesday, Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald was still unsure whether Walker would return to practice this week.

If Walker is sidelined with a multi-week injury, he will miss the Week 3 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

Senior NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that Walker did not practice on Wednesday.

Walker suffered an oblique injury during Seattle's 26-20 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 1. He played the entire game, finishing with 103 yards on 20 carries, including a 23-yard touchdown run.

If Walker is unable to recover in time for Week 3, Zach Charbonnet is expected to fill the void for the Seahawks in their offensive backfield.

Charbonnet took part in 23 offensive snaps in Week 2 against the Patriots. He gained 38 yards on the ground on 14 carries and caught his first touchdown, a 30-yard score from quarterback Geno Smith to help the Seahawks maintain their winning record this season.
