When Will Madden 25 be released? Early access, release date and more details

EA has arguably been at the top of the sports video game industry for many years, and the Madden franchise is one of its most well-known brands. Football fans all throughout the world have responded well to Madden's annual releases, and the newest installment, EA Sports Madden NFL 25, will soon go live.

With its upcoming release this month, Madden 25 is expected to bring exciting new innovations and advancements to the popular franchise.

Madden 25 will be released on August 16, 2024, while early access started four days earlier, on August 12. Running back Christian McCaffrey is the cover star of the latest installment. This is the first time a running back will appear as the cover star of the game since 2014, when Adrian Peterson and Barry Sanders split cover model duties. Additionally, McCaffrey is now the first San Francisco 49ers player to appear on the Madden cover.

When can you play Madden 25?

According to EA, Madden 25 will be available on Friday, August 16, 2024. However, for those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition, the game is now available.

Three days of early access are included with every Deluxe Edition Madden 25 pre-order. An "AKA Player Item," 4,600 Madden Points, and Early Access Ultimate Team challenges are some of the additional Deluxe Edition benefits.

The most recent Madden game introduces improvements that set it apart from its former editions, ushering in a new era for the series.

You can purchase and play Madden 25 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC. The Deluxe Edition of the game goes for $99.99, while the Standard Edition sells for $69.99. Enthusiasts of Madden may also purchase the MVP Bundle, which costs $149.99 and comes with the Deluxe Edition of the impending EA Sports College Football 25.

Madden 25 Early Access

Gamers who want to start playing Madden NFL 25 ahead of schedule will have to pay for the opportunity, as Early Access is only available for some of the more costly game editions.

One of the pre-order benefits for Madden 25's Deluxe Edition is early access to the entire game for players who were able to pre-order it before August 15 at 12 E.T.

Early access began on August 12 and it's available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
