Derrick Henry left the Tennessee Titans to sign a two-year contract worth up to $16 million with the Baltimore Ravens this offseason. The talented running back will now play in Baltimore with Lamar Jackson, the reigning NFL MVP, for the next two seasons.
Henry, who spent his first eight seasons in the NFL with the Titans, has made four Pro Bowl selections during his time in the league. However, the player had already built a reputation for himself as an imposing running back before he played in the NFL at all.
Henry played collegiate football for the Alabama Crimson Tide between 2013 and 2015, recording 3,591 rushing yards and 42 rushing touchdowns during his time there. The bulk of his output was produced during his last season for Alabama before he left for the NFL.
