In 2022, as a junior, Odunze led the team with 1,145 receiving yards, which was the fifth-most in a single season in Washington's history. He had six games with over 100 receiving yards and three games with over 150 yards. He also led the Pac-12 in receiving yards and was second in receptions per game.

In 2023, Odunze played in all 15 games, including two playoff games, and recorded 92 receptions for 1,640 yards and 13 touchdowns. He had ten games with over 100 receiving yards that season and led the NCAA in receiving yards. Despite playing with a broken rib and a punctured lung for part of the season, he was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award. Following Washington's loss in the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship, Odunze declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.
