Drew Brees is widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks to have graced the NFL. He spent 20 seasons in the league, winning several accolades in the process. However, football fans have been curious to learn what the legendary quarterback is doing now.
Following his retirement from the NFL in 2020, Brees has remained close to football. He joined NBC as a broadcaster for the 2021-22 NFL campaign. The start of his career as an analyst was a tad rough, given his very little experience in his new job.
He subsequently returned to his alma mater Purdue as an interim assistant coach in December. The 43-year-old Brees is currently working alongside student-athletes as well as helping the Boilermakers with their recruitment. He recently helped Purdue prepare for their Citrus Bowl contest in January 2023 against the LSU Tigers.

Brees has been a brand ambassador for PointsBet since 2021. However, a week after he agreed to coach Purdue, PointsBet, which operates in New Jersey, announced it was ending its partnership with Brees.
The iconic quarterback also enjoys spending more time with his family as his playing days are behind him. Brees married his college sweetheart Brittany Dudchenko in 2003. Together, they have three sons and one daughter.
