In a confusing incident on Tuesday, Joe Mixon's house was taped off by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Though the Cincinnati Bengals star's involvement remains unclear, an investigation seems to be in progress. As of yet, no arrests have been made.
Prosecutor Melissa Powers is expected to discuss details of the incident in a press conference on Thursday, March 16. is holding a press conference Thursday afternoon to address last week's Anderson Township shooting near the home tied to Bengals running back Joe Mixon.
During the incident, a juvenile was taken to the hospital. Suffering from minor injuries, people made calls after they heard shots fired. This particular property is located on Ayers Road in Hamilton County.

Deputies arrived at the scene after shots were heard, and ended up taping the house as a crime scene. They left without making an arrest after taking the tape down.
According to reports, Mixon invested in a 1.13-acre property is located near the Coldstream Country Club and was purchased back in July 2021. The area is a vacant space and is surrounded by other luxury mansions.
As per Realtor.com, the house cost Joe Mixon $3.2 million.
Back in 2021, he also a sold off a four-bedroom house he owned in the Cincinnati suburb of Anderson Township. The home, which sold for $790,000 was originally brought in October 2020 for $760,000.
The original house itself was built in 2015, and comes with a home theater, wine cellar and a wet bar. While selling, Mixon described it as 'almost new.' Considering his commitment to the Bengals, Mixon, even with changing houses, is staying in the same area.
Joe Mixon's salary and contract breakdown
With a net worth of $10 million, Mixon has signed a four-year, $48 million deal with the Bengals. Apart from the signing bonus and yearly salary, Mixon will also be earning for making the roster, workouts and the restructure.
Furthermore, Mixon will be making $10 million through his signing bonus, and $10 million through guaranteed money. His average annual salary amounts to $12 million.
During the 2022 season, he made a roster bonus of $470,589, workout bonus of $200,000.
The 26-year-old will also be making money via barious brand deals and promotions. As of now, he is affiliated with brands like Kroger, Madden NFL 21 and Head and Shoulders.
