Tee Higgins received plenty of support from the NFL community amidst his unfortunate involvement in Damar Hamlin's life-threatening injury on Monday night. The Cincinnati Bengals receiver was tackled by Hamlin on the play just before the Buffalo Bills' safety collapsed and the game was postponed.

Hamlin was rushed to the hospital and it was later revealed that he suffered a cardiac arrest. Meanwhile, Higgins was later seen in the Cincinnati locker room, visibly shocked and disturbed by the incident.

The receiver tweeted a message of support for Hamlin early on Tuesday morning and fans were quick to offer the Cincinnati star some encouragement.

Higgins was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and attended Oak Ridge High School. He had an affinity for football from a young age and impressed many with his athleticism during his senior year.

He originally committed to playing college football for the University of Tennessee before eventually joining Clemson University in 2017. As a freshman, Higgins featured in 13 games and put up 345 yards and two touchdowns on 17 receptions.

The receiver entered his sophomore season in 2018 as a starter and helped the team win the Football Playoff National Championship. He finished the campaign with 936 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns.

In his junior year, Higgins had another stellar season, adding 1,167 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. However, his Clemson side lost to the LSU Tigers in the National Championship. The highly-talented football star then decided to forgo his final year of eligibility and declare for the 2020 NFL Draft.

Tee Higgins was picked by the Bengals in the 2020 NFL Draft. He is currently in his third year with the team. Prior to Monday night's game against the Bills, the receiver had managed 3,021 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns on 214 receptions.

He has put up 1,035 receiving yards and seven touchdowns across 16 games this season.

However, Higgins will doubtless be concerned over Hamlin's condition at the moment. The receiver, along with many in the NFL community, is eager for a positive update on the Bills star.
