Peyton Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. He is one of only five players to be named the MVP for consecutive seasons. He also holds the NFL record with a total of five NFL MVP awards in his Hall of Fame career. He will need to hold off Aaron Rodgers, who now has four after winning the award in 2021 and is still active.
#4 - Joe Montana
Joe Montana won the NFL MVP award for consecutive years in the 1989 and 1990 seasons. He started a stretch where San Francisco 49ers quarterbacks dominated the award voting, winning the NFL MVP in four of six total seasons. His former teammate Steve Young also won two, but they weren't consecutive.
#5 - Jim Brown
Jim Brown is considered by many around the NFL to be the greatest running back of all time. He dominated the rushing attack in the early days of the NFL and was named the MVP in each of the first two years of the awards' official existence.
