The Steelers go into their bye week with a 6-2 record. They're thriving under Mike Tomlin and have been enjoying consistency at the quarterback position for the first time in ages.

In 2024, the Steelers recorded wins over the Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets and New York Giants. Their losses came against the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys in back-to-back weeks. Both losses were by a paltry three points.

The San Francisco 49ers enter their bye week with a 4-4 record. Last season's beaten Super Bowl finalists have dealt with a nightmare slate of injuries this season. They've seen major stars such as Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk miss time due to niggling injuries. McCaffrey hasn't played this year, while Aiyuk has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Kyle Shanahan's side has recorded wins against the New York Jets, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys. Their losses have been to the Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Rams, Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. The bye week couldn't have come at a better time as the 49ers look to recuperate and potentially welcome McCaffrey back to the fold for the second half of the season.
