Announcers for the Commanders vs. Lions game revealed
A well-known figure to football lovers will be in the live broadcast booth as an analyst for Saturday night's NFC divisional round matchup between the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders.
The game, which is set to air on FOX Sports, will have color analyst Tom Brady, a former quarterback for the New England Patriots, in the booth alongside play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt.
Brady played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022 before he announced his retirement from the NFL. During his playing career, he competed in 10 Super Bowls, the most in NFL history, and won seven of them.
Tom Brady recorded 649 touchdowns and 89,214 passing yards in his career, both more than any other NFL quarterback in history.
Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox to become a sports commentator when his playing career ended.
After working with some broadcasting networks, Burkhardt became a commentator for FOX in 2013 and will be in charge of play-by-play call duties for the NFC divisional round game.
The sideline reporting for the Lions vs. Commanders game will be handled by Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi. In addition to interviewing the two head coaches, they will also notify fans of any concerning injury issues that might surface throughout what is expected to be an intense battle.

The Detroit Lions will host the Washington Commanders in the NFC divisional round. With a chance to play in the Super Bowl in New Orleans, the victor of the game will face either the Los Angeles Rams or the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC championship game.
The Commanders defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round last week to move on to the next round of the playoffs, while the Lions received a bye in the first round.
