Will Caleb Williams play in the Hall of Fame Game?

The question on many fans' minds is whether Caleb Williams, the first overall pick in the 2024 draft, will start as quarterback for the Chicago Bears against the Houston Texans. Well, the quarterback is not expected to play on Thursday, rather the Bears will start QB2 Tyson Bagent.

Chicago head coach Matt Eberflus disclosed that a number of starters will be sitting out the team's opening preseason game, however he did not specify which players would miss out. Fans shouldn't count on Williams and wide receiver Keenan Allen to be available for that game.
