Tight ends are often in the most difficult fantasy football position to find reliable value. The 2024 NFL season may be a bit of a different situation, as several young stars have been on the rise. The position as a whole appears to be improved this year, including the following top-seven options.

#7. Kyle Pitts

Kyle Pitts has ranked among the top 15 fantasy tight ends twice in his three years with the Atlanta Falcons despite suffering through some of the worst quarterback play in the NFL. With the addition of Kirk Cousins, he could be in line for the most productive season of his career.

#6. Trey McBride

Trey McBride was one of the biggest breakout players in his second fantasy football season, finishing as the TE9 after a TE40 finish in the year prior. He did so without Kyler Murray for most of the year, so with an upgraded quarterback and an established role in his offense, McBride may continue to increase his output.

#5. George Kittle

George Kittle has played in a crowded offense for most of his career but has still finished among the top five tight ends in fantasy football five times in seven years. He has scored 23 touchdowns and recorded over 2,500 yards across the past three seasons, making him a reliable pick again this year.

#4. Mark Andrews

Mark Andrews will be looking to bounce back from his injury-shortened season with the Baltimore Ravens last year. He had finished among the top five fantasy tight ends in each of the four seasons prior and even finished as the TE13 last year, so managers should feel safe trusting him.

#3. Dalton Kincaid

Dalton Kincaid was a bit inconsistent during his rookie season last year but still finished among the top ten weekly tight ends in fantasy football seven times. He is projected to get an expanded role with the Buffalo Bills this season after they parted ways with Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, so he has a ton of upside.

#2. Sam LaPorta

Sam LaPorta has a legitimate case to be the number-one tight end this year after finishing as the TE1 last season. He did so during his rookie year, suggesting he has more room to grow as he gains experience. He led all tight ends with 86 receptions last season and is expected to play a similar role this year.

#1. Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce has earned the top spot in the fantasy football tight end rankings by impressively finishing among the top three players in the position in each of the past eight seasons. He remains the featured piece of the Kansas City Chiefs offense, which has allowed him to exceed 100 targets in nine consecutive years.
