Who is the Eagles' starting QB for Super Bowl 2023? Depth chart explored ahead of Chiefs showdown

Super Bowl LVII - Philadelphia Eagles Practice
Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles participates in a practice session prior to Super Bowl LVII

The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs play later today and Super Bowl LVII is finally here. In what will be the biggest game of his brief NFL career thus far, Jalen Hurts will start as the quarterback for Philadelphia.

Hurts has been a huge part of the Eagles' successes this season and looks set for a big game tonight. He hasn't played in a Super Bowl before, but in the two seasons he's been Philadelphia's starting quarterback, he's led them to the playoffs twice.

Gardner Minshew is the second-string QB for the team and is one of the best backups in the NFL. Minshew is in his fourth season in the league. While spearheading the Jacksonville Jaguars' attack to some unexpected victories in 2019, he gained attention for his distinctive mustache and gutsy performances.

Ian Book is the third-string QB for Philadelphia and is not expected to see any action in the big game.
