The 2023 NFL Draft is in the distant future and teams with good draft capital already have an eye on it. Some teams have performed beyond expectations this season, while others have been utterly disappointing. That's the tale of the tape in the NFL, as not everyone can make the playoffs.
Tanking has always been a controversial issue in the NFL and whether it truly takes place is a matter of some debate. On the surface, some franchises seem to be making a habit of losing and will doubtless have draft prospects in mind already.
A team's record is only half the story in dictating their draft position, as picks can be traded for players or multiple picks. So, who currently has the first-overall pick in the 2023 draft

They drafted a real gem in Dameon Pierce in 2022 and if they have a good draft they could be a much improved side next season.
