Jeremy Reaves had a special night on Sunday. The Washington Commanders' safety helped his team win 30-24 overtime against the Atlanta Falcons at Northwest Stadium before proposing to his longtime girlfriend, Mikaela Worley.

Reaves got down on one knee on the field and proposed to Worley, who fell to her knees in tears before accepting his proposal. While Reaves' on-field proposal went viral on social media, fans grew curious to learn more about Worley.

Mikaela Worley was born on July 16, 1998, in Pensacola, Florida, to parents Alan and Sherry Worley. She also has two elder siblings, a brother named Austin and a sister, Katie. The Worley family has a strong affinity toward sports.

Mikaela attended Milton High School in Florida before joining the University of Louisiana–Monroe where she played for three years with the Warhawks' volleyball team. She was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Central Arkansas Tournament as a freshman. Mikaela finished her collegiate career with 665 kills, 449 digs, 730.5 points and 26 assists across 79 matches.

Moreover, Mikaela's father, Alan, played football at Livingston University, while her mother played volleyball for the school. Her brother, Austin, played football at Huntingdon University, and her sister, Katie, played softball at Georgia State.

Mikaela graduated from ULM with a major in science. She then spent three years at Brenau University's Ivester College of Health Sciences.
