Kadarius Toney's NFL career
Kadarius Toney attended Mattie T. Blount High School in Eight Mile, Alabama. Prior to being chosen by the New York Giants in the 2021 NFL Draft, he played collegiate football for the University of Florida.
Kadarius Toney has played two seasons in the NFL. The New York Giants took him with the 21st overall pick in the first round of the 2021 draft.
In his rookie season, he started four of 10 games, caught 39 passes on 57 targets for a total of 420 yards.
Midway through his second NFL season, Kadarius Toney sought a new team after beginning the campaign with the Giants. The wide receiver was traded by the Giants to the Chiefs for a sixth-round pick and a compensatory third-round pick in 2023.
Kadarius Toney participated in two games for the Giants and started three of his seven regular-season games for the Chiefs in 2022. He caught 16 passes out of 20 attempts for 171 yards and two scores.
Toney played in both the Super Bowl and a postseason game for the first time. He had one reception on nine targets in the AFC Championship game against the Bengals.
Against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, he had one reception for five yards and also scored a touchdown.
