The NFL preseason officially began last week and is currently in Week 2. The second preseason game for the Philadelphia Eagles will see the Eagles take on the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on Thursday, August 15. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET.

For those who don't reside in Boston or Philadelphia, NFL Network will have the Eagles vs. Pats game. Local Philadelphia supporters can watch the game on NBC-10, where the broadcast will be handled by play-by-play reporter Scott Graham, color analyst Ross Tucker, and sideline reporter Dave Spadaro.

WBZ (CBS/4) will broadcast the game for fans in the Boston Market. Jason McCourty, Devin McCourty, and Scott Zolak will cover call duty.

The Patriots impressed in Week 1, defeating the Carolina Panthers 17-3, while the Eagles start Week 2 of the preseason fresh off an exciting 16-13 win over the Baltimore Ravens last week.

Will Drake Maye play against the Eagles?

The Patriots will play their first NFL season without Bill Belichick since 2000. Jerod Mayo will take charge as head coach this year. The team's most crucial position is quarterback, where Mayo, a former linebacker for New England, already has to make a difficult choice between veteran Jacoby Brissett and former North Carolina standout Drake Maye.

Maye only played one series in last Thursday's preseason victory over the Panthers, completing two of his three passes for 19 yards. The Pats' quarterback play that day was mostly handled by 25 year old Bailey Zappe.

However, based on what head coach Jerod Mayo said last Friday, Patriots supporters should expect to see more of Maye this week against the Philadelphia Eagles.

It's still unclear, though, if the 21-year-old quarterback will be the starter on Thursday.
