2024 NFL preseason: New England Patriots vs. Carolina Panthers starting QB's explored
The New England Patriots have announced that quarterback Jacoby Brissett will start in the preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers. The hosts are also expected to give Drake Maye, Joe Milton and Bailey Zappe some game-time action on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Carolina Panthers are expected to give quarterbacks Jack Plummer and the recently signed Jake Luton the bulk of the snaps on Thursday. They announced Bryce Young won't start against the Patriots, while backup Andy Dalton is nursing a quad injury.
