NFL players to watch out for in Week 17's TNF
Tony Pollard, Dallas Cowboys
Although he did not practice on Monday, Tony Polard is expected to play on Thursday Night Football. Pollard has emerged from Ezekiel Elliott's shadow to become the Cowboys' most lethal threat in an accomplished run game.
The third-year running back is one of the fastest players in his position, and his explosiveness is incredibly exciting to watch. Pollard has been selected to participate in this season's NFL Pro Bowl game.
Pollard is listed as questionable for the Titans match, but he still has a practice or two to prove his fitness. He will look to add to his 2022 stat line of 988 rushing yards and nine touchdowns for the season.
Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans
Derrick Henry is arguably the best running back in football, and the year seven veteran is one of the main reasons the Titans are still in playoff contention. 'King' Henry is a tank and his ability to bulldoze through opposition is beyond impressive and beyond that. Few players have been able to break tackles or seem to enjoy contact as much as Derrick Henry.
Henry is currently listed as questionable for Thursday night's game against the Cowboys as he battles a hip injury. However, you can expect Henry to play a part in the crucial fixture and add to his massive stat line. Henry has recorded 1,429 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns on 319 rushing attempts this season.
