Players to watch in the Chiefs vs Raiders game

The Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders have an array of excellent players on their rosters. Let's take a look at a player for each side to pay attention to in their Week 13 matchup.

Patrick Mahomes, Quarterback - Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes is arguably the best player in the NFL, and he's leading the Kansas City Chiefs to yet another No. 1 seed placement in the AFC. Interestingly, Mahomes is having one of his weaker statistical years, but that hasn't stopped the Chiefs from beating almost every team they've faced this season.

Ahead of Week 13, Mahomes has 2,673 passing yards, 18 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He will have the likes of Travis Kelce and DeAndre Hopkins to pass the ball to in this Black Friday matchup. The Raiders pass rush must find a way to disrupt Mahomes in the pocket if they're looking to get anything out of the game.

Brock Bowers, Tight end - Las Vegas Raiders

Brock Bowers has always looked special, and the Georgia Bulldogs product is performing to expectations in his rookie season. Bowers is one of the few Las Vegas Raiders players having a solid 2024. He's the team's primary pass catcher, and it's not even close.

Bowers has amassed a stat line of 74 catches, 744 receiving yards and three touchdowns this season. He is a handful for opposing defenses due to his combination of size, speed and catching. The Chiefs will have their eyes on the former Georgia standout in Friday's fixture.
