Nobody would have predicted at the beginning of the 2024 season that a midseason game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Commanders would be important in two division title contests. This Week 10 matchup, though, has the potential to be an incredible contest between a strong offense and a resilient defense because both teams have surpassed expectations thus far.

The Steelers (6-2) carried a lot of confidence into the break after defeating the New York Jets, New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders with averages of over 30 points per game before their Week 9 bye. The team's defense is also quite good; in the last four games, they haven't given up more than 20 points.

The Commanders, who are currently 7-2, have won three straight games, showcasing their perseverance and strong defensive play while also getting ever closer to a possible postseason berth.
