Who is Ted Crews?
Ted Crews is an experienced NFL executive with two decades plus of experience in the premier American Football League. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at South Carolina State University.
Ted Crews' first full-time NFL experience was with the Carolina Panthers, where he spent five seasons as the Media Relations Assistant. Following his stint in Carolina, he joined the Atlanta Falcons as their Football Communications Manager, a position he held from 2005-08.
His next stop was St. Louis, where he joined the Rams as their Senior Director of Communications. He occupied that role from 2009 to 11, serving as their primary contact on all football matters and as the team's official spokesperson.
After leaving the Rams, Crews joined the Chiefs and became the team's vice president of communications. He held that position until 2021 when he was promoted to executive vice president of communication. In that capacity, he served as Kansas City's primary contact and spokesperson for franchise communications efforts for both business and football operations.
Furthermore, he oversaw arguably the most successful Kansas City Chiefs' history. The Chicago Bears are getting an experienced executive and one of the best in the league. The Bears and Chiefs have different goals for 2024
The Chicago Bears have the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and there's one name on everyone's lips.
The Bears will likely select USC superstar quarterback Caleb Williams as the centerpiece for a long-overdue rebuild. The Bears have improved their wide receiver room and offensive line, meaning Williams will enter the league with significant help under center.
The Kansas City Chiefs' goal is as clear as day. The Chiefs are aiming for the three-peat. It won't be easy, but Patrick Mahomes and Co. remain the team to beat in 2024.
