The Kansas City Chiefs are the visiting team for Super Bowl 2023. The AFC Conference Champions are up against their NFC Conference counterparts, the Philadelphia Eagles, in the biggest game of the NFL season.
The Chiefs will be coached by Andy Reid and led on the field by current league MVP Patrick Mahomes. They will be up against a Philadelphia Eagles team coached by the 2023 NFL Coach of the Year snub, Nick Sirianni, who just happened to start his NFL journey in Kansas City. Jalen Hurts, who has been rampant all season, will lead them to the gridiron.
The game will be played at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the home of the Arizona Cardinals. The game looks set to be one for the books, as both teams are heading into the season on a stunning run of fun.

How are the home and away teams for the Super Bowl game decided?
The home and away teams for the Super Bowl game are decided through a rotation method. When it comes to the Big Game, the home team is determined by an even or odd year method. In a nutshell, the AFC champions are given the home team duties in even-numbered years, while the NFC champions are designated as the home team in odd-numbered years.
It is important to note that, even in years when the teams playing in the Super Bowl game are playing in their home stadium, they are still not designated as the home team. That's why, in the past two seasons, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Los Angeles Rams were not designated as home teams, despite the Super Bowl game being played in the Raymond James Stadium and SoFi Stadium, respectively.
The perk of being the home team in the Big Game is that they select what color uniform they will wear. The other team will wear their away or alternate uniform to prevent a clash of colors. Meanwhile, the away team gets to call the ceremonial coin toss.
