The Kansas City Chiefs now know their playoff opponents for the 2025 divisional round. The Chiefs (15-2), who secured the top seed in the AFC, automatically qualified for the divisional round, without having to play in the wild-card round.

Due to its No.1 seed in the conference, Kansas City will square off against the lowest remaining seed in the AFC.

The Kansas City Chiefs will play the No. 4 seeded Houston Texans in the AFC divisional round on Saturday. It will be the first time the Chiefs will be in action this postseason since they got a first-round bye.

Prior to the AFC wild-card games, the Chiefs could have faced any one of the Texans, No. 5 seed LA Chargers, No. 6 seed Pittsburgh Steelers, or the No. 7 seed Denver Broncos.

Since the Chargers lost to the Texans, the Steelers lost to the Baltimore Ravens and the Broncos suffered defeat against the Buffalo Bills, Houston remained the lowest remaining seed in the AFC.

Furthermore, the Chiefs will have the home-field advantage when they face the Texans in the divisional round. The Chiefs-Texans postseason game will be played at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Chiefs are chasing a three-peat of Super Bowls and their starters will be well-rested for the playoff clash against the Texans. The Chiefs had a break during the wild-card weekend, after resting their starters in the Week 18 regular-season defeat to the Broncos.

Superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes will lead the offense for the Chiefs, while CJ Stroud is expected to start for the Texans.

Here are the key details for the Chiefs-Texans second-round playoff game:
