It makes sense that the Dallas Cowboys (No. 5 seed in the NFC) will be facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 4 seed in the NFC), since that is who they started the season against. The Buccaneers won the Week 1 meeting between the two teams 19-3, where Dak Prescott was injured in the first half. It's been an interesting year for the Cowboys, as always, with Dak Prescott missing some time and other miscellaneous injuries slowing the team down. However, they found themselves back in the playoffs after finishing the year with a 12-5 record. Everything that they would want is still right in front of them.
Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys will take on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Dallas will have their hands full when it comes to their first-round game against the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay, despite their under .500 record of 8-9, won the AFC South Division once again thanks to their veteran quarterback, Tom Brady, and stingy defense.

Dallas looked, for the most part, uninterested in playing football during Sunday's game at Washington. Tampa Bay played a meaningless game against Atlanta. Ideally, both teams will come out blazing, Dak Prescott and Tom Brady will have a shootout and one possession will decide the winner. However, based on recent performances, neither team looks as sharp as they should by this time of the year.
The biggest factor in this game could very well come down to who has the least amount of turnovers. Both defenses are respectable, it's the offenses that are shaky. Both teams have the firepower to each put up 30 plus points and make it a very enjoyable game for viewers. However, both teams can be equally awful offensively and we may not see more than one touchdown, like we did in the Week 1 meeting between the teams.
