Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens have won back-to-back games for the first time this season.

The Ravens made the trip to Tampa Bay to take on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in what was a marquee matchup on Thursday night. The game started well for the Bucs as they raced out to a 10-3 lead in the first quarter. However, that was as good as it got for Brady and Co.

The Ravens defense made some serious adjustments and kept the Buccaneers scoreless through the second and third quarters.

The final quarter was all about Baltimore's run game and Tampa Bay's offensive penalties that cost them points. In the end, the Ravens ran out 27-22 winners and moved to 5-3 on the season, while Tampa Bay inexplicably dropped its fifth game in its last six to sit 3-5.

If there's one thing we know about the Baltimore Ravens, it's that John Harbaugh loves to run the ball. On Thursday night, they ran it straight down Tampa Bay's throat without much resistance at the Raymond James Stadium.

In total, Baltimore had 31 rushing attempts for 233 yards. Lamar Jackson (45 yards), Kenyan Drake (62 yards) and Gus Edwards (65 yards) did as they pleased against an inconsistent Tampa Bay side.

With Baltimore rushing all over the Buccaneers, the hosts could only muster 44 rushing yards themselves. Tom Brady threw 44 times, completing 26 of them for 325 yards and a touchdown.

Wide receiver Mike Evans was the pick of the group, catching six passes for 123 yards. Chris Godwin (six rec., 75 yards) was also good value for the Bucs.

The loss will heap even more pressure on Brady and the Buccaneers as they slumped to a 3-5 record. Throughout his entire career, TB12 has only had five seasons where he lost five games. The loss to Baltimore means he has lost five games in a season three times in the last five campaigns.

The Buccaneers could be put under the cosh even more depending on what the Atlanta Falcons do on Sunday.

For Lamar Jackson and Baltimore, it was a statement win and they are now 5-3 just when many seemed to be forgetting just how good a football team they are. Baltimore is in the mix to win the AFC alongside the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs.
