Najee Harris is an American football running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers as of the 2024 NFL season. The Pittsburgh Steelers selected him as the 24th overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He was born on 9th March 1998 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Najee Harris started his football career at Antioch High School in Antioch, California. Then, he went to the University of Alabama for graduation. He played college football for the University of Alabama from 2017 to 2020. During his college days, he was coached and guided by head coach Nick Saban. In his 4-year tenure with the Crimson Tide, Harris accumulated more than 4,600 scrimmage yards and helped Alabama win two national championships.Since entering the NFL in 2021, Harris has eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing mark in each of his first three seasons. He recorded a 1,200 rushing yard season in his rookie campaign which saw him get selected into the PFWA All-Rookie team while also making it into the Pro Bowl. As of week 9 of the 2024 NFL season, Harris has totaled more than 4,800 yards in his career while getting into the endzone 30 times.
