Tyreek Hill's mother, Anesha Sanchez, has been in the news for the wrong reasons this week. Per reports, Sanchez is being investigated for allegedly assaulting a woman by the name of Maleney, who was once believed to be her close friend, and keeping a hold of her necklace.

According to police documents, Maleney has filed a case against Sanchez for an incident that reportedly occurred on July 1 in Southwest Ranches, Florida. Reports claim that Sanchez allegedly slapped Maleney across the face with the back of her hand during a car ride when the duo was trying to resolve an argument.

The altercation then escalated, and Sanchez allegedly ordered Maleney to get out of the vehicle. When Maleney was stepping out of the car, Sanchez insisted that her friend get back in since it was raining.

Sanchez even grabbed Maleney's necklace, breaking it in the process, while attempting to drag her back into the vehicle. Sanchez eventually dropped her friend back home that day and kept the necklace, promising to repair it before returning the jewelry.

However, as of July 31, Sanchez reportedly did not return Maleney's necklace, which led to the latter filing a police complaint. In her report, Maleney has expressed no desire for legal action and does not want to press charges against Sanchez. However, she is seeking the return of her necklace.

The outcome of the investigation is yet to be revealed.

Miami Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill reportedly shares a close bond with his mother, Anesha Sanchez. Thus, he is likely to support her through any legal proceedings in the police report.

Last season, when Hill scored a touchdown against the New York Giants at Hard Rock Stadium, he climbed into the stands in celebration and was waiting to give the football to his mother Sanchez. A fan in the stands caught Hill's pass to his mother, but the football eventually made its way to Sanchez after some of the Dolphins faithful explained the incident to the fan.
