Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. However, he seems to have hit a decline this season after back-to-back MVP campaigns.
He's won the league MVP four times in his NFL career, including the last two seasons in 2020 and 2021. He also won MVP in 2011 and 2014.
He was a backup in his first three seasons behind Brett Favre and didn't take over as the starting quarterback until the 2008-09 season. He went 6-10 in his first season as a starter but vastly improved from there.

Rodgers had a combined record of 21-10 for the next two seasons before winning the league MVP in 2011. He led Green Bay to a 14-1 regular season record while setting the record for the highest passer rating in a single season with 122.5.
He would go on to win MVP for a second time in three years in 2014. He led the Packers to a 12-4 record while throwing for 38 touchdowns, 4,381 yards, and only five interceptions.
In 2020, Rodgers had one of the best statistical seasons ever for a quarterback. He led the league in passing percentage (70.7), touchdowns (48), passer rating (121.5), and touchdown percentage while going 13-3.
Last season, he led the Packers again to a 13-3 record while leading the league with a passer rating of 111.9.
The odds of Aaron Rodgers winning another MVP
While Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks of all time, it seems unlikely that the four-time league MVP winner will win another one.
While he has had sensational seasons over the last two years, he isn't having that kind of season this year. Through the first nine games of the regular season, Rodgers has lost as many games (6) as he did in the previous two regular seasons combined. The Packers sit at 3-6.
Rodgers currently has a passer rating of 89, which is the lowest of any season in his career.
With the Minnesota Vikings rolling this season at 7-1, it's likely the Packers won't win the division and could miss the playoffs.
Rodgers has also mulled retiring multiple times and it seems possible that this could be the last year he plays. He is past his peak and it doesn't seem likely he will win another league MVP.
