Blake Corum is a talented American football running back who was born in Laurel, Maryland on December 30, 2001. He attended St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland where he played high school football. Being highly sought after, Corum committed to playing for the University of Michigan Wolverines in May 2019. As a true freshman in 2020, he played in all six games and rushed for 249 yards and two touchdowns. Corum had a standout year in 2021, with 1,166 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns in 13 games. He continued to develop in 2022, rushing for 1,463 yards and scoring 18 touchdowns. His consistent progress makes him a top prospect for the NFL. The Wolverines consider him one of the best young running backs in college football, and they expect him to play a key role in their success in 2023. Corum will become eligible for the NFL draft in 2024.

Blake Corum announced that he would be returning to the Michigan Wolverines for the 2023 season rather than declaring for the NFL draft. Corum got injured towards the end of the season, disallowing him to declare for the draft as he would have missed a large part of the predraft duration. Furthermore, Corum declared that he had “unfinished business” and that he wanted to leave an undying legacy at college. With these objectives in mind, Corum has committed to returning to the Wolverines for his senior year at the University of Michigan.
