Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb did not attend the team's training camp this summer. He also missed all the preseason games because he was awaiting a contract renewal. Now that he signed an extension, he must significantly step up his physical level if he hopes to play in the team's Week 1 matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
That said, the wide receiver asserted that there is no doubt about his availability for Week 1's game against the Browns.
Lamb was questioned by media in Frisco, Texas, on Tuesday, if he would be prepared to play up to 60 snaps against the Browns.
“Yes, bro," he said. “No question. I'll be ready.”

As things currently stand, the former first-round draft pick appears to be a significant part of Dallas' season opener.
The 25-year-old receiver is still only taking part in individual exercises, but as the team's training staff works to get him back into his physical prime, he should be more active over the next few days.
Lamb is expected to be a key player in the Cowboys' offense after a 2023 campaign that saw him named to the first-team All-Pro. He also led the NFL in receptions last season, finishing with 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Lamb has 395 catches, 5,145 receiving yards and 32 receiving touchdowns in his four seasons in the league.
CeeDee Lamb deal: How much will the Cowboys WR earn?
After a month-long holdout, the Dallas Cowboys signed CeeDee Lamb to a four-year, $136 million contract on Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal also includes a $38 million signing bonus, and up to $100 million in guaranteed money.
Lamb will make $34 million annually, which will put him second behind Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings in terms of average compensation for a non-quarterback.
Lamb was granted a two-game roster exemption by the NFL when the Cowboys reduced their roster to 53 earlier this week. He is now on the commissioner's exempt list.
As a result, Lamb is not currently listed among the 53 players, but he will be free to practice with them as he recovers to full strength. He can also be activated at any time during the first two weeks of the season to take up a roster position held by someone else.
CeeDee Lamb's Fantasy Football Outlook in 2024
CeeDee Lamb established himself as one of the finest receivers in the league in 2023 by leading the NFL in targets, ranking second in receiving yards and fifth in yards per route run.
Fantasy managers can expect to see more of the same from Lamb in Dallas this year. He is expected to be the WR1 in fantasy football as the team did not make any notable alterations to its WR room.
CeeDee Lamb is a surefire top-three pick in fantasy football this year, considering his output from the previous campaign.
