When asked if Week 5 was an appropriate time for Cook to make his debut with the Cowboys, Jerry Jones informed reporters that this was "probably not" the week to make that happen. At this time, the Cowboys appear committed to seeing how the backfield combo of Rico Dowdle and Ezekiel Elliott plays out.

Hunter Leupke also played a part on Thursday Night Football against the New York Giants, carrying the ball twice for 8 yards. He also caught both of his targets for 14 yards in the TNF win.

Cowboys fans marinate in regret after Derrick Henry's dominant showing vs Bills

Derrick Henry was among the premier names on the free agent list earlier this offseason and while there were rumors the Cowboys would move for the dominant running back, Dallas ultimately decided against making a splashy move in free agency.

Henry instead signed with the Baltimore Ravens and through four weeks of football, the former Titan has made it clear he has a lot left in the tank. Henry rushed for 199 yards and a touchdown as the Ravens bullied the Buffalo Bills all night long.

In an interview with The Pivot, Henry revealed that he had some interest in signing with the Cowboys but the franchise never reached out to his agent to make something happen. 'King Henry' ultimately signed a two-year deal with the Ravens that will see him earn up to $16 million.
