As per reports from The Athletic's Diana Russini, DeAndre Hopkins could make his debut for the Chiefs against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8. The Chiefs are expected to fly the wideout to Kansas City later on Wednesday after the deal with the Titans is finalized.

The Chiefs want Hopkins to train with the team during the week so that he can face the Raiders on Sunday. Kansas City will host practice sessions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before making the trip to Vegas. While Hopkins is expected to miss Wednesday's practice, he could be available for the next two sessions.

Hopkins, a 12-year NFL veteran, signed for the Titans in July 2023. The Houston Texans drafted him in the first round in 2013, and he also played three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals from 2020 to 2022.

In six appearances for the Titans this season, Hopkins racked up 173 yards on 15 receptions and caught a touchdown. It will be interesting to see how he fares with the Chiefs for the remainder of the season.

Per reports, the Titans would receive a conditional fourth-round pick from the Chiefs in exchange for Hopkins.
