Another PS5 only feature is the Skill Based Passing 2.0 which features better catching abilities and throwing animations. When it comes to the game modes on offer, the PS5 will feature Superstar: The League. This is where you can make your very own player and guide him through an entire career right from the NFL combine to the draft selection and eventually a 99 OVR player. This mode will also come with new mini games. The other game mode on PS5 is Superstar Showdown: In this mode you can use your player and play with and against friends in 3v3 matchups. The Franchise mode on the PS5 is also all set to receive updates which will include new mini games and training camp drills.
On the other hand, the PS4 will not have both the Superstar: The League and Superstar Showdown game modes. That is because the PS4 will continue with the Face of the Franchise and The Yard modes which are more or less identical to the Superstar game modes found on the PS5.
Is Madden NFL 24 available for pre-order?
EA Sports has announced August 18 as the worldwide release date. However, if you buy the Deluxe version, then it will be available three days earlier on the 15th of August. Furthermore, Madden NFL 24 is now available for pre-order on the PS5. The Standard version is available for $69.99 whereas the Deluxe version is priced at $99.99. If you already have EA Play then you will get a 10% discount which will reduce the price to $62.99 and $89.99 respectively.
